Some of you may have heard the bad news. The MET and it's associated museum, The Cloisters have changed their donation policies. From this point on you must be a resident of New York State or a student with valid ID from the states of New York, New Jersey or Connecticut to pay-what-you-wish. Everyone else must pay the full admission fee. Bummer! P.S. We updated our Suggested Donation article to reflect the changes.
